    Synopsis

    《Italy Ethics Masterpiece Directed by: Pier Paolo Pasolini Synopsis: Won the Jury Grand Prix at the Berlin Film Festival. The film is based on the famous collection of novellas 'The Decameron' by Boccaccio from the Italian Renaissance. Pasolini selected 8 (some say 10) stories set in Naples and other areas of southern Italy for filming (the original stories mainly focus on the Florence area). Most of these stories aim to expose the hypocrisy and ugliness of the Church and distinctly express the author's affirmative attitude towards the liberation of human nature.The original work 'The Decameron' is one of the most important literary works of the Italian Renaissance, featuring fourteen.
