Ultimately, Ming Zhi realizes the Buddhist principle of boundless sea of suffering and the path of repentance, ending his life by self-immolation. After that, Shi Tian's career was smooth sailing. In 1980, he reached a peak in his career, marrying Liu Qin Yu, a Taiwanese actress I really admire, and co-founding the successful film company that would later become the famous Hsin Yi City.
