He has to leave the sheep pack alone, and along the way, he encounters an opportunity to revert to being a wolf due to magic. However, upon learning that the wolf pack is about to attack the sheep, he gives up the chance to become a wolf again and resolutely returns to the sheep pack, leading them to defeat the wolf pack. Eventually, the two groups reach a peace agreement.
