  • intro:This action movie, titled 'Palestinian Wolf Valley,' is centered around opposing Israel and is adapted from a television series of the same name. From the trailers released by the film production team, the film tells the story of the protagonist and his partners, who, as Turkish secret spies, embark on a journey of revenge against Israeli soldiers. They track down an Israeli commander authorized to attack a humanitarian aid ship and assassinate him. The trailer also repeatedly features scenes of Turks and Israelis hurling insults at each other. The film's producer stated that the film is not merely a revenge story, but reflects the unfair treatment that Palestinians currently endure through its narrative. Following the film's release, it quickly faced strong protests from Israel. Israel's ambassador to Ankara, Eitan Lev, stated in an interview with Turkish media that the film defames Israel. He harshly criticized the bias it portrays against Jews, believing that the film itself promotes anti-Semitism. In May 2010, to break the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, the 'Humanitarian, Freedom, and Aid Fund' (IHH) and the 'Free Gaza Movement' organized an international aid fleet to head towards Gaza. From May 30 to 31, the fleet was intercepted by the Israeli navy in international waters, leading to conflict. Nine Turkish volunteers were killed, and nearly 30 were injured. Turkey was once an important partner of Israel in the Middle East. After the interception of the fleet, Turkey withdrew its ambassador to Israel and insisted on an apology from Israel, further deteriorating the bilateral relations. Israel, on the other hand, believes that its soldiers fired in self-defense after being attacked on the ship.
