Perhaps these women would have spent a lot of quiet, secluded years together in their cozy apartment if on one of the pre-New Year evenings Sofia Ivanovna had not decided… to die. Which she informed her daughter about. And so much did Sofia Ivanovna want her daughter to be happy, and Tanya wanted so much for her mom to be at peace… And so the New Year was approaching, that outside the window of the old Moscow apartment, the most real New Year’s miracles were beginning...
