Before long, young Ma could no longer contain himself and jumped in. Unable to find the pants, he instead discovered a love letter from a guy named Danny to Kara. Enraged, he storms to Kara's newly rented apartment to confront her. Kara answers the door nude. Just after a couple of questions, without understanding the situation with Danny, out comes Moyula, freshly showered. Disheartened, young Ma heads back to the park where the film began to clear his mind and encounters a perverted guy who makes his wife sleep with others while he peeks from the woods. This scene reminds young Ma of his former infidelity with a seamstress, whose husband also shared similar interests. Reflecting on this, young Ma recalls the words from the sculpture: to live in this world, love should not be confined. He starts to remember all of Kara's wonderful traits and realizes he still loves her deeply, so he calls her to make amends. After young Ma leaves in anger, Kara falls into a deep sense of guilt and writes strict self-discipline measures to correct herself. When young Ma's call comes through, Kara excitedly rushes to the park and hands him her letter of remorse. He takes it, throws it away, and pulls Kara into the depths of the woods.
