intro：Cooper (played by Chris Marquette), a carefree young man working in the service department of a pharmaceutical company, is always late for work, careless in his tasks, and plays pranks on his colleagues, which greatly displeases his supervisor, Marianne (played by Deborah Geffner). On the morning he is about to be fired, an unknown disaster suddenly strikes. When Cooper wakes up from a coma, he finds himself wrapped in white cocoons, surrounded by chaos. Even more unbelievable to him is the sight of giant beetles flying around, launching fierce attacks on him. After a struggle, Cooper manages to defeat them, and he subsequently rescues Marianne and her daughter Sarah (played by Brooke Nevin), but Marianne is ultimately abducted by the insects into the sky. With the efforts of Sarah and Cooper, they manage to rescue several other trapped humans, and this group of survivors must find a way to fight against these giant insects in order to survive...
