Guan Fengyao fortuitously encounters the owner of the Four Seasons Weave, Bai Xiaojun (played by Maggie Cheung), and the daughter of Teacher Yuan, Xiao Lian (played by Wu Qianlian), ultimately meeting Duan Qingyun, who has changed his name and hidden in the dye house to evade capture, and has developed feelings for Bai Xiaojun. Kabe plots to annex the Four Seasons Weave with various schemes, and when Guan Fengyao can no longer tolerate it, he confronts him, only to be subdued and used by Kabe. Yuan Tianyou repeatedly suffers setbacks in his struggle against Kabe and even threatens Duan Qingyun to fight Kabe. Guan Fengyao rushes to rescue him, but it is too late...
