Later, Xiaocun joins them and also falls in love with Meijun, who is indecisive between the two. During a mission, Meijun blinds the eagle. Before dying, the eagle asks his disciple Yinhuxu (played by Aaron Kwok) to take revenge. Yinhuxu pursues Meijun, and Xiaocun dies trying to save her, entrusting his sister Huixiang (played by Yip Yi) to Qinge before he dies. Yinhuxu also loses one eye to Meijun.
