    Synopsis

     《South Korea, Czech Republic Science fiction Masterpiece Directed by: Bong Joon-ho Synopsis: In order to combat the increasingly severe greenhouse effect, countries around the world launched a refrigerant code-named CW-7 in 2014, only to inadvertently plunge the Earth into an irreversible deep freeze. Most of humanity perished from the cold and panic, with only a few thousand boarding a train developed by Wilford Industries, becoming eternal wanderers. This train, powered by Wilford's (played by Ed Harris) perpetual motion engine and equipped with various complete facilities, built its own independent ecosystem over the next seventeen years, rotating endlessly on a long journey of 438,000 kilometers. The lower-class people living in the rear car have long suffered oppression, and in their quest for freedom and power, they have launched multiple revolts in the past, all of which ended in failure.
